Give to the Zach Scott Benefit
Zach Scott, supervisor of the tire department at Sam’s Club and a great friend too many, was in a car accident Saturday June 21, 2008.
Zach was driving home from his brothers wedding late that night in order to make it to his church on time. The following morning Zach and his youth group were to go to New Orleans for a mission trip. Fifteen miles away from his church he fell asleep at the wheel.
His truck rolled a couple of times and ended up facing the opposite way he was traveling. He was conscience the entire time and luckily a women came upon the wreck shortly after. Zach was trapped in his truck and the roof had to be cut off in order to get him out. He was then carried by care flight to Scott & White in Temple and is now in ICU.
After his six hour surgery on Sunday the Doctors found that he had broken his neck in two places, and severely damaged his spinal cord.
Doctors expect that he should regain mobility in his arms and hands unfortunately, there is talk about him not being able to walk again but all of his friends strongly disagree and if you know Zach then you'll know where we are coming from. We will not give up on him just as he would not give up on us. We will continue to stand beside him and help him through this ordeal.
We have opened a benefit account at Wells Fargo in his name. Donations can be made by using the PayPal link or by contacting Micheal Brown or Casey Hobbs.
We appreciate all the help that we can get and please keep Zach and his family in your prayers and please continue to give your love and support.
